What's New in 2014 - Workshops and Projects!

December ended up being a much busier month than I'd anticipated. I went to my hometown, Atlanta, to help my mom move to florida. Yep, it was that time. About 9 days, helping mom pack and purge things, then a road trip south to sunny (and sometimes surprisingly chilly) Florida. With a cat. ha!During this time I'd also managed to launch a couple of things.~ Workshops~ a new 365 projectWorkshops, were a long time coming. Now I've done several over the past couple of years, but this year I wanted to formalise things a bit. Kicking things off with two classes, focused on mobile photography. The first one is this Sunday on basic photographic techniques and the following Sunday I dive into more creative techniques. Check out details here: Workshops. In 2010, 2011 & 2012 I completed a 365 Project, that's a Photo a Day. All of these images were taken and edited on an iPhone. In 2013 I feel I was pretty prolific in creating mobile images, but not quite daily. This year I decided to give it another go, it's a good challenge to create something, daily. The fun part is that with the iphone (or other smart phones), you can snap an image and do an edit all on one device. So here we go again! Here's a few of my fave images from the first two weeks, including at least one or two from somewhere south and east (in the US).Tree - Double Exposure - iPhone4s | Hipstamatic2014_365_001The Atlantic Ocean and Daytona Beach - iPhone4s | VSCO2014_365_006Tall Trees + the Halifax Rvier - iPhone4s | Picfx | Mextures2014_365_007the Birds - iPhone4s | Snapseed2014_365_011at the park, along the water - iPhone4s | Picfx | Alt Photo2014_365_012Follow the entire project here: iPhone 365 - 2014 Edition
