Spring in The Lake District

I recently did a quick road trip through the Lake District in northwest England. It was a part of a larger trip throughout the UK, wherein I was dedicated to seeing more than just London. Not that I don't dig London, but I'd been there a few times before and I was ready to explore more of what England has to offer.Taking the train down to Kendal from Edinburgh, I hired a car (that's how the Brit's say rent a car) and did a day trip throughout the Lake District National Park. It's a lovely spot, without a doubt. I should have probably spent a few days there, exploring with more purpose. Alas I had many cities to visit on my recent journey, so I drove with purpose, stopping wherever looked interesting and appealing. The most amusing bit of this to me was that I wanted to photograph sheep! I saw sheep in Ireland and in Scotland, but there weren't many spots to pull off to photograph them. However in the Lake District I found a few. How silly is it that one of my missions on this trip was to photograph sheep?? Not silly at all. Look at them... they are adorable!2015_0421_LakeDistrict_015-Edit2015_0421_LakeDistrict_045-Edit2015_0422_LakeDistrict_0322015_0422_LakeDistrict_036-EditCheck out even more images from my travels here! These were all snapped on the Fuji XT-1 and edited in Lightroom.
