Around and About: Bangkok

This past April I took my first trip to Thailand. I knew once i arrived I hadn’t planned for enough time in the city. With that in mind, I did as much as I could, often being out for entire day/nights. There was one night, I got in after the sun came up. :)I am quite lucky as a long time friend lives in the city and she was able to spend some time with me. We explored one of the local markets, had brunch and dinners and of course went to some clubs. I also had some time on my own, to see Bangkok with my own eyes and lenses. From run down sidewalks and buildings in disrepair to high end shops and a million malls, Bangkok offers it all.The images in this post are from the city, the streets, the views, the trees and the bears. Yes, I said bears!Cityscapes, from the 24th floor.2016_0429_KHH_Bangkok012016_0429_KHH_Bangkok56Trees in the wind:2016_0429_KHH_Bangkok58Dinosaurs:2016_0504_KHH_Bangkok06Louis Vuitton + Cartier2016_0504_KHH_Bangkok09Mercuryville2016_0504_KHH_Bangkok18Stop and Go2016_0504_KHH_Bangkok21Bears!2016_0504_KHH_Bangkok26I have many more images, so many I decided to break it down into a few posts. From the island of Koh Samui, to the Temple Wat Pho, and to the weekend Market: Chatuchak. All of these were captured on the Fuji XT-1, with my fave 35mm f/1.4 lens! Still going through all the iPhone pics for the hidden gems.Stay tuned for more!~ Kate
