Exploring ICM - Intentional Camera Movement

Who out there likes abstraction?

Who out there likes to capture scenes in a different way or unique perspective?

Who out there is a curious artistic soul with a camera?

If you answered “me” to any of those questions this post is for you!

As a child I grew up in an artistic house, my mom was an abstract painter and my father was a musician and photographer. Over the years I have pursued all of these in various ways and obviously (hopefully) photography became my real passion.

One technique I use from time to time is called ICM: Intentional Camera Movement.

This technique implements slow shutter speeds + handheld movements.

In this video, I share images and dive into this technique.

This technique can help you create images that are unique and abstract.

Give yourself permission to make messy images, if for no other reason to have fun!
