my week in iPhoneography - 20 April

The creative journey continues this week with a sampling of from beach area I reside, forests in the city and things you can find along the way.Day 103: Forest in the City, v1.Forest in the City, v1Kicking things off with a trip to Seattle’s Lincoln Park, this park offers trails, beaches and some pretty heavily wooded areas. Truly a little something for everyone.iPhone5s | vscocamDay 104: the tide is high… and crashing…the tide is high… and crashing…Over the sea wall, at Alki Beach. The tide comes and goes, on this day, it was pretty high. When the ferries and water taxi’s pass, the water comes and goes pretty quickly. I love the contrast of the bit of calm and the water in motion coming over the wall.iPhone5s | vscocamDay 105: PierPierThis pier leads you to the Seattle Water Taxi. The route goes from downtown Seattle to West Seattle, a fun commute for some or just fun for anyone.iPhone5s | HipstamaticDay 106: bloomsbloomsWith the sun going down these blooms where warm and illuminated. Captured with hipstamatic, I did some additional post production in vscocam + mextures to add to the mood.iPhone5s | Hipstamatic | vscocam | MexturesDay 107: Yellow Tulip Yellow TulipSpring is in full swing and there are tulips all around. I opted to do a close up of this one, partially opened up.iPhone5s | MexturesDay 108: Architecture, flipped.Architecture, flipped. This is a skyscraper somewhere in downtown Seattle. I continually mention to folks to think about perspective and their view on things. Look up, look down, look around and see what you can find.iPhone5s | vscocamDay 109: Forest in the City, V2Forest in the City, V2It’s actually quite amazing that the week began with a similar image as it’s wrapping. On this day I lead the Seattle Flickr group in a little photo walk about Seward Park. It was my first visit there. There’s a path that runs along the water, and additional paths that go into this wooded area.It was overcast, so I used the Rays app to achieve what’d I’d hope would happen, rays coming through the trees.iPhone5s | Rays | Mextures | SnapseedThat’s it for this past week, look for more soon!Pick your poison and follow this iPhoneography project daily on Instagram, Flickr or Tumblr.
