My week in iPhoneography - 27 AprilMy iPhone 365 Photo a Day project continues. Check out what I’ve been up to for the past week + what apps I used.Day 110: PuddlesProcessed with VSCOcam with g1 presetI live in a pretty freakin’ cool neighbourhood in Seattle. Yes, Seattle is known for it’s rain, but we do have days like this! Shhh don’t tell anyone, it’s our little secret. When the tide rises, it rarely rises above this wall, but it will sometimes crash over, which can result in these little puddles. I love the reflection of the sky and clouds.iPhone5s | vscocamDay 111: driftwood2014_365_111Around the bend from the main drag of Alki Beach is this little cove, farther south and west is a ferry terminal. This particular area has lots more drift wood than other beach areas I’ve seen in Seattle.iPhone5s | HipstamaticDay 112: Meanwhile, at the beach.Processed with VSCOcam with 1 presetOn this day I had at least three guys zoom past me on their skateboards, with their dogs running ahead.iPhone5s | vscocamDay 113: Spring blooms2014_365_113Secret confession time… I love looking at and taking images of flowers, however I am the worst when it comes to knowing the names of many of them. This is one of those instances. I really found something of interest in this tree, displaying different stages of blooms all at once.iPhone5s | mexturesDay 114: Going for a WalkProcessed with VSCOcam with x3 presetThe painted men on this path are in varied states of “dress”, some are missing their sleeves, their pant legs, hats, and beyond. Taking a moment to pause and wait for the woman walking to enter the frame. Their pace somewhat timed.iPhone5s | vscocamDay 115: dandelionProcessed with VSCOcam with m4 presetI don’t know what it is about these little guys, but I find them intriguing. The texture, the fluff. I pulled this one up out of the yard and placed it on a blue table I own. Shot with Hipstmatic, then I edited this one with vscocam to do some basic colour/contrast adjustments then on to mextures to get my creativity on.This image was also featured in the App Whisperer's Weekly Flickr Roundup. Very cool to be included, there are loads of fabulous mobile artists in the community. Check out the other selects from the week here: Flickr Group Showcase – TheAppWhisperer (TAW) – April 27, 2014.iPhone5s | Hipstamatic | vscocam | mexturesDay 116: dandelion, day 22014_365_116I left the dandelion sitting on the same surface and decided to play around with some photos of it again the next day. It had begun to wilt a bit, the stem curving about. In the mornings I get some pretty awesome direct light through this window, so in the brightness I snapped this with hipstamatic, then moved on to snapseed for some contrast and texture.iPhone5s | hipstamatic | snapseedI’ve added the entire project to my Smugmug site, soif you find something you like and would be interested in purchasing a print, you can!Check out the entire year here: iPhone 365 2014.Pick your poison and follow this iPhoneography project daily on Instagram, Flickr or Tumblr.See you next week!- kate
